Koninginnenacht
Van een bandjes tot dikke dj's, we doen het allemaal! Koninginnenacht begint om 19.00 swingend met een lekkere band, waarna we overgaan op lekkere disco deuntjes met een live zangeres! Daarna kan de dansvibe worden voortgezet onder het genot van Amsterdam's finest dj's (tot 1.00).
Koninginnedag
Ook op Koninginnedag beginnen we rustig met een bubbels en bandjes om 12.00. Daarna wordt het tempo opgevoerd door onze Duitse freunden, regelrecht geïmporteerd vanuit het moederschip der elektronische muziek, Berlijn. We brengen ze echter de religie van de Nederlander bij: GEZELLIGHEID! Komt dat zien!!

Halloween at Amsterdam’s finest club: Studio 80. Prepare for the freakshow of the year. Julien Chaptal and David Labeij will celebrate their birthday again in a breathtaking way and this time the Sisters in Crime will participate as well. After a stunning first edition of S.I.C. the sisters are ready for another blast…
The birthday boys and Sisters in Crime invited Melon, definitely one of the first flavour dj’s Amsterdam has to offer, to play. He has been around the world and hosted several clubnights under the name of ‘Ratio?’ For the occasion he will play a three hour set.
Efde is also playing. Faring really well by his musical productions and getting more and more international attention. Soon he has a release coming up on the Dutch label Soweso.
Fresh kids KERK! & Du Chatinier; playing often on WKND nights at Studio 80 & they have their first remix release coming up on the German OFF Recordings very soon!

SISTERS IN CRIME
Vassallo Bookings en The Fresh Kids slaan de handen ineen voor een nieuwe
clubavond in Studio 80, genaamd S.I.C. – oftewel ‘Sisters in Crime’. Vanessa
en Anneke, beroemd en berucht in binnen- en buitenland en goed bewapend
met een gevarieerd aanbod aan nationale en internationale artiesten binnen hun
eigen boekingsbureaus, openen het vuur. Bereid je voor op een avond vol vertier,
verleiding en verrassingen!

Voor de kick-off op 13 augustus is Bloody Mary, een stoere franse dame uit Berlijn,
uitgenodigd. Bloody Mary heeft pas geleden op Fusion festival nog de haringen
uit de tenten doen trillen; bereid je voor op een stevige, uitgebalanceerde set van
deze ervaren DJ en producer. Ze heeft over de hele wereld gedraaid, van Azie tot
Amerika, van Fabric in Londen, Rex Club in Parijs tot de Watergate in Berlijn. Bloody
Mary heeft gereleased op verschillende gerenommeerde labels, waaronder haar
eigen label ‘Dame-Music’. Pittige tante, deze wil je niet missen!

Naast deze internationale gast staan ook Boris Werner & Tom Ruijg op het
programma, die deze avond back to back in Studio 80 zullen draaien. Onlangs
hebben ze met een vier uur durende openingsset in de Poema in Utrecht nog de tent
compleet afgebroken. Boris staat dit jaar onder andere op Circoloco op Ibiza, samen
met Ben Sims op Mysteryland en er zit een tour door de VS aan te komen. Tom
released na de zomer op Melon’s label Ratio? met een remix van DaddyKShunn;
maak je borst maar nat.

Alsof dat nog niet genoeg is, hebben we nog meer talent op het programma staan.
Ion Ludwig, een ontzettend muzikale en creatieve artiest, is net anderhalf jaar terug
in het land na een poos in Berlijn te hebben gezeten. Hij heeft al meer dan 30 platen
op zijn naam staan en heeft opgetreden in Tokio, New York en door heel Europa.
Zijn performance is ijzersterk, dus zorg dat je hem niet mist.

Francesco Robustelli, een zeer gedreven producer die bij velen bekend is door
WKND, is zaterdag te horen met een live-set. Francesco heeft vorige maand
gereleased op Louche Records, eerder dit jaar op 90 Watts Records en er komen
er zeer binnenkort nog twee releases aan. Dit jaar heeft hij zijn eerste internationale
optredens gehad in Cafe D’Anvers (België) en Gammarth (Tunesie).

De jongens van KERK! zijn fresh kids van het eerste uur. Ze zijn binnenkort te horen
op Into The Woods Festival en hebben al in menig Amsterdamse club gespeeld. Bij
KERK! kun je een groovende house sound met hip-hop invloeden verwachten. De
eerste release van KERK! in samenwerking met Du Chatinier komt er binnenkort aan
op het Duitse label OFF Recordings (remix van een plaat van Andre Crom).

De live set van Efdé op Welcome to the Future afgelopen weekend was weer van
een zeer hoog niveau. Efdé behoort inmiddels net als Boris en Tom tot één van
de vaste namen binnen Studio 80. Binnenkort komt er een remix van hem uit op
Soweso, het label van Lauhaus en Kabale und Liebe. Hou Efdé in de gaten!

Tijdens de nieuwe clubavond S.I.C. kun je verrassende optredens uit zowel het
binnen- als het buitenland verwachten. Voor de kick-off op 13 augustus wordt de
stoere Franse dame Bloody Mary vergezeld door maar liefst zeven getalenteerde
local boys, knallen maar.

The Fresh Kids Queensday
We start on friday 29th with Queensnight.
Events all around the city, all around the country. If we cross the border on the right side and land in Berlin we find Fumée Grise who will be playing at Formtanz. In the morning he will take the plane to Amsterdam, towards the Queensday madness ... For the first time he is going to experience this extraordinairy event.

Francesco Robustelli won't be around at Queensnight this time, he will fly to Tunesia to play at Christal Private Club and rock 'm off their socks. Ofcourse he will be back in town in time to attend and play Queensday in front of Restaurant Gebr. Hartering at the Peperstraat and at the Groovebus which will be around Waterlooplein.
